Miracles are Real

God has done miracles in our squads and I’m not joking, but first let me give you insight of what happened in the past.

When I was about five years old, my dad introduced me to sport “fútbol” or known as soccer. You could say it was my first love as I would go outside everyday just to play a little bit.

Although, I stopped playing as much as school started because I wanted to explore the different options of activities there were and soccer wasn’t an option.

I switched schools for personal reasons and soccer was at this new school.

This was in 7th grade and my love was was still deep inside, but let us go to my senior year and it’s the third game of the season.

I’m an outside-mid and the ball was passed to me.

The defender came from behind and took out my right knee.

I lost my senior year due to that injury, and any future of soccer in college. The injury was a sprain in my MCL and my meniscus. We got the swelling down and surgery wasn’t needed but knee wasn’t going to be the same.

Full range of motion in my right knee wasn’t possible unless surgery was to happen.

That leads to today.

With God’s interruption and listening to His calling, I’m now on this World Race. Just in two weeks, God has changed me so much and I do not deserve any of this. To be perfectly honest, none of us deserve God’s love. But thats just how good our God is!

We had a session where the speaker spoke on healing and how miracles are still here, because our God is the same God over 2000 years ago.

Some of my squad mates knew about my knee and asked if they could pray over it. I wasn’t too confident in it but let them do their thing.

This weird warm feeling came into my knee.

They finished praying and asked if I can try to rotate my knee and do a full bend.

And…

I tried and this overwhelming of emotions came over me as my knee was…

HEALED!!!

It fanned this flame inside me and it grew. Now all I want to do is thank our Lord. Thank Him for everything on this planet and everything He’s done for me!

Here’s a verse I believe the is speaking to me at this current moment.

“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” Phillippians 4:19
